RG3 to Start Monday Night

According to an ESPN report, Robert Griffin III will start season opener vs the Eagles on Monday Night. There wasn’t a doubt that he would be starting but I can safely say I was one of the few that hoped he would sit out for a couple games if not more.

If it was up to me, I would’ve had him come back after the bye week to ensure he was 100% but what do I know? We will be watching and cringing any time theres a pistol set. God speed Griff.

No Pain No Gain

If this doesn’t give Redskin fans more excitement for the start of the season I’m not sure what else will. Hail.

Great Wall of Chinatown

John Wall has agreed and signed a maximum contract extension worth approximately $80 million over five years. Our boy is getting paid to stay!!!

It’s a smart move for the Wizards despite Wall’s inability to stay healthy or make an all-star appearance through 3 years in DC. He has shown he has great potential and has done everything possible to be deemed as the face of the franchise. No one can argue that he is the Wizard’s most electrifying player.

Wall produced at the level of an elite point guard in the final two months of last season and we’re hoping it wasn’t just for a pay day. This contract is the 3rd highest contract in franchise history behind gun slinging Gilbert Arenas and Juwan Howard.

Overall we’re happy with the signing and are hopeful this will lead to a playoff berth this season.

5 out of 5 mangos for the deal. WELCOME BACK AYYYYY!!!!

Captain Chaos to Retire

Chris Cooley has decided to retire and join the radio broadcast team for the Washington Redskins as an analyst. This is a good move for him considering he hasn’t offered much on the field but is still beloved and is considered one of the most popular players by all Redskin fans.

It is unclear what exactly his role will be on game day but we’re sure he will bring his charisma and energy to the set. We salute you, COOOOOOLLLEEYYYYYYYY!!!!!!
